WOW!!! 9 months ago right now I was laying in the OR getting ready to see my baby girl. What a 9 months it has been. Bella is WONDERFUL. We did her checkup last Thursday. The Dr. walked in and said "OH MY GOSH, I can't believe how big she has gotten." Bella's response was HIIIII!!! LOL. She loves telling everyone hi and bye. She had a huge growth spurt since her last checkup. She was in the 90th percentile on height, by which the dr said she is pretty tall for her age even before looking at that. Which would explain why Bella can't wear footie pjs. The poor girl has to keep her knees bent at all times if we were to put them on her. LOL. She weighed just under 21 lbs.
The Dr. asked,"how is she eating?" My response was "what can she not eat? LOL" We have an awesome eater on our hands. Once we got past the mashed potatoes we haven't found anything she hasn't liked. Believe it or not she LOVES dill pickles. She rakes the pickle off the peeling with her two bottom teeth. It is quite a sight to watch. :-)
Bella has a little vocabulary already, she says Hi, Bye Bow (aka bye bye)and waves, Daddy, uh oh, and ow as she is poking you or pulling your hair, all of which she uses at the right time. LOL. She has been such a joy. We are on the VERY verge of walking. She will take off walking from a piece of furniture for about 5-6 steps and getting better everyday.
She is getting big way too fast. We can't wait for her to make another stride in something she has learned and then once she does it I look back and almost cry to see how fast she is growing up.
We are gearing up for Halloween this next weekend. I am excited for these next couple of months with the upcoming holidays. But then again I am not too excited about January, as she will be turning 1. But on the flip side of that I am excited about planning the party. HEHE. So that is where we are at these days, growing up too fast and on the go.
